St. Joan of Arc provides a fertile place for all people to grow in their desire to make a difference in the world by engaging in
collaborative ministry.

"We welcome you wherever you are on your journey!"

St. Joan of Arc is also on a journey and we invite you participate in that journey!

What is collaborative ministry?
"Collaborative ministry is people working together to serve the world by building God’s reign of peace and justice. Collaborative ministry strives to create partnerships that foster healing and growth in our communities as we journey together."

Examples of collaborative ministry already in progress at SJA. Some of these areas are available for more information on this web site:

  1. Interfaith Action and Isaiah - church based community organizing.
  2. Small Christian Communities.
  3. Support Groups like the singles, the seniors, AA, and other groups.
  4. The Befrienders Program.
  5. Sister Parish - we have great link to the Sister Parish website.
  6. Grace House
  7. The Spirit at Work program.
  8. The Eco-spirituality program.
  9. Socially relevant liturgies that involve ordained and not ordained people as the leaders.
  10. Involvement in children and youth ministries
We invite you to participate in these activities already going at St. Joan of Arc. Investigate these and other areas of collaborative ministry by filling out our Shared Ministry Form. We also are interested in other areas where collaborative ministry can take place, please feel free to contact us with your ideas.
