Virtus: Protecting God's Children for Adults is the link for signing up for adults looking for the required training for those working with our children. 

Mobile Loaves and Fishes is a social outreach ministry for the homeless and indigent working poor. St. Joan's has a MLF ministry.

Trust Inc is an ecumenical coalition of 18 South Minneapolis churches, including SJA, to provide service to the area's residents. TRUST has been providing human services in the south Minneapolis area since it was formally started on October 4, 1970.

Alternatives is a non-profit organization and their booklet "Whose Birthday Is It, Anyway?", used at SJA, is their primarily source of income. For over 25 years, Alternatives has provided people with ideas to celebrate responsibly.

Child Link International is a Non-Profit adoption agency based in Richfield, MN. Child Link International helps support children in Russian orphanages and helps to place older, orphaned children in loving Christian homes.

Cabrini House is an independent non-profit organization whose mission is to provide housing and supportive services in a safe, sober and compassionate setting to facilitate increased self-sufficiency for individuals with chemical dependency and mental illness.

US Council of Catholic Bishops is a very good source of info on Catholic Social Teaching.

Michigan Peace Team started in 1993 as a non-violent alternative to militarism. Their goal is to empower people to act as peacemakers.

The Hunger Site - funds go to the World Food Program, a UN agency that provides food in war zones and other "hot spots".

Stop the Hunger.Com- In addition to information on hunger issues, you can click a button that causes one of the sites sponsors to provide a meal for someone in need.

The RainforestSite contributes to the Nature Conservancy's project to purchase and preserve the world's diminishing rainforests. No cost to you.

EcologyFund is similar to The RainforestSite except you can designate a specific wilderness area that receives the funds you sponsor by clicking on a link. No cost to you.

Defenders of Wildlife originally was an endangered species site that has now branched out into other areas of conservation. Sign up for their bi-weekly newsletter.
