Sunday, July 18

The day started out early for us, before 7. First, we headed off to the church for Sunday mass. After that we began doing some cleaning around the outside of the church, since the person that was supposed to bring the paint didn't. Next we paved the entrance to the church that comes off the road, it looked good until we came back later and discovered it was full of dog footprints! Our group tried our best to interact with the people of TNII, and our translators and interperters were a huge help! We went back to our homes and had lunch, then it was off to the church again. This time it was for a Youth Group meeting. We discussed what God meant to us, and of course played some games. Then after some fun and relaxing it was time to go home and SLEEP! This day was a long, but exciting day.

The picture to the left shows SJA and TNII youth laying cement at the front entrance to the church on Sunday. Brian, Ben and John are pictured from SJA. Others swept and collected garbage while some got on the roof to clean the drains. While this was going on, adults were engaged in a Sister Parish committee meeting. The picture to the right needs no explanation.
