candles and cards in the store-room if needed.
Board Meeting Report
The Board Meeting was a great success! Special thanks to Bob, Louise
and Leslie! Sister Parishes in Guatemala are becoming aware of economic
inequalities that result from "projects" sponsored by northern churches.
The Board is considering that issue.
Mission Sunday
Jenny asked for suggestions for the message she will deliver on
Mission Sunday. Several recommendations were given.
Delegation Planning
- Michael has volunteered to coordinate the planning for the
delegation.
- Katharine volunteered to coordinate interpreters.
- We tentatively planned to have delegation planning meetings on May
19 and June 15 in addition to our regular committee meetings.
- Louise voluteered to coordinate homestay families. We decided on
two 5-day family stays during the delegation rather than one 10-day
stay.
- Joel volunteered to be a driver and to plan the picnic (if we
decide to have one.)
Brochure
Jenny shared a draft of the brochure for critique. Good
job, Jenny!
