Two accompaniers have asked if they can give a presentation at SJA in April. We decided that Wednesday the 23rd and Sunday the 27th would work. Sunday the 27th after the 11:00 Mass would be the best choice. Mindy will check to see what works for the presenters.
Two upcoming events at SJA are relevant to Sister Parish activities and will be very interesting. The first is a Witness for Peace presentation by Padre Uvi from Oaxaca on Monday, April 21st at 7:00 p.m. The second is a presentation by Dorothy Irvin (a former SP delegate) called "More Spirited than Lions: Women in the Early Church.". It will be held on Friday evening, April 25th (see the bulletin for details).
There may be a mistake in the budget about whether we have paid the annual linkage fee. Mindy will check.
We discussed the order for the annual candle sale. Louise will ask Shannon if there are suitcases at the center to carry candles back or whether we need to bring some. We decided to order 20 Advent sets, 40 smaller shaped candles, 6 multi-colored spheres, 10 hearts, hot pads and tea cozys. The delegates should talk about bringing back the candles during the orientation.
The next meeting will be held on May 7th at the usual time and place. At the next meeting we should consider a coordinator for non-delegate N-S visits and a report from SJA Ministries International.
