The purpose of this page is to update
anyone who may have missed a recent event. We will try
to archive these "reviews" as a way of journaling
events of our hermanamiento.

Candle Sales, Nov. 15 and
22nd, 1998 During the last year,
Tierra Nueva Dos has increased their candle making business.
With a $200 loan and an idea, they produced and sold over $4000
of candles this year, mostly to SJA parishioners. On Sunday,
November 15th committee members sold out 1200 candles in 2
masses. The demand exceeded the supply and candle sales
coordinator Mary Beth Leone-Getten suggests that we ask TNII if
they are interested in increasing the production for next years
holiday sale. Approximately $3000 was grossed which will be
sent to TNII for their supplies and efforts. Candle sales for
Sunday, Nov. 22nd were obviously canceled. 
Wait! Vickie Schmidt
has reported that she has a few hundred candles left over and
will bring them to SJA on the 20th. Candle Queen Mary
Beth(pictured to the left with hubby Tim) says we will sell
them on the 22nd. Anyone scheduled to sell should report. Does
that look to you like a Burger King hat that the boy is
wearing???
