Report from the Sister Parish Committee Meeting (TNII) Guatemala, 20 Feb 2005

Present:

Alba Rivera, Melecio Silveste, Eraín Juárez, Antonio Socop, Miriam Básquez (sic), Bernardo Batres

Points discussed:

• Petty cash
• Delegation to SJA
• Hand over of responsibilities to new leadership (Junta Directiva)
• Candle project

Efraín handed over the replacement coordinator (coodinadora suplente) position to Alba Orozco. We will maintain a petty cash fund of 500 Quetzales. The rest of our money will be deposited in a bank.

We discussed how we will choose the delegates for SJA. Representatives will consult within their groups and bring suggestions at the next meeting. The responsibility for defining the criteria will rest with the leadership of the committee (junta directiva) or the vice chair (sub consejo)and the committee with the guidance of Father Juan Pablo. This point will remain in discussion.

The registered signatures will be changed at the bank on 5 March 05. Responsibility will be passed on to the treasurer-elect.

INFORME DE REUNION DE COMITÉ DE HERMANAMIENTO.

Guatemala, 20 de febrero del 2005.

Presentes.

Alba Rivera, Melecio Silveste, Efraín Juárez, Antonio Socop, Miriam Basquez Bernardo Batres.

Puntos tratados.

• Informe financiero de caja chica.
• Delegación a Santa Juana
• Traslado de cargos a nueva Junta Directiva del comité.
• Proyecto de candelas.

Efraín Juárez entrego el cargo de coordinador suplente a Alba Orozco. Que mantendrá una caja chica de Q.500.00. El resto del dinero se mantiene depositado en una cuenta bancaria.

Se hablo sobre la forma de hacer la selección de las personas que podrían viajar en la delegación durante el mes de julio. Los representantes consultaran a sus grupos y traerán sugerencias en la siguiente reunión. Se considero que la responsabilidad de definir los criterios será de la Junta Directiva de la Comunicad o Sub-Consejo y del Comité de hermanamiento con asesoria del padre Juan Pablo. Este punto continuara en discusión.

Se acordó que el día 05 de marzo se cambiaran las firmas registradas en la cuanta bancaria del comité, pasando la responsabilidad a la nueva tesorera electa.
