Sister Parish Committee meetings are held the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 7 pm. in the school. Newcomers are always welcome. If you have questions, please contact any of the members of the committee.

Present: Susan, Jeff, Louise, Mindy, Trina, Rick
The budget agenda item was tabled as Joel was not present and Louise left her copy at home.
Bob will/has send letters and do phone follow-ups to those who signed up on Shared Ministry forms in May. He will also invite them to the social on July 21st.
The Northern Assembly meeting of SP Inc. will be Aug. 10-12 in Mankato. Mindy will be going along with Louise(possibly). Any other interested people should contact Louise at eidsmoel@aol.com. The Northern Assembly is a visioning group discussing how things are going and where SP Inc. should be headed. Anyone who is a member of a Sister Parish is invited to exchange ideas.
We discussed how communication has again fallen by the wayside both ways. We need to do a better job of translating minutes into Spanish and sending them. Trina agreed to be the "task leader" for this job. Please call her at 651.489.4016 after 5 pm if you would be willing to add your name to the list of minute translators. Trina will create a schedule and keep people informed. To start us off, Trina agreed to translate the minutes from our June 6th meeting and Susan agreed to translate these minutes and send to TNII.
We are still tentatively looking at 2 delegations next summer. A youth delegation is being proposed for the 2nd week of June and an adult delegation for mid-August. We still need an organizer for the adult delegation. Contact Louise at eidsmoel@aol.com if you are interested in coordinating.
Our summer social will be held Saturday, July 21st at 6 pm at Jeff and Alex's house. Everyone who receives these minutes is invited. This is your invitation. Friends and family are welcome. This is a no agenda social to network the people involved in Sister Parish or wishing to be involved in Sister Parish. Julie M. has invited the Spanish class students also from Lent. Jeff and Alex will provide paper, plastic, napkins, and glasses. It is a blind potluck. Bring one item to share and your own beverage. We will see what we get!
