  1. OPENING:
    Meeting convened at 5:00pm. Group prayer. Remainder of standard Parish Council format was suspended. Jean welcomed members of Space Use, Finance and Stewardship reminded all that tonight’s agenda was receipt and initial discussion of the Feasibility Study Report. She then introduced Hal Johnson and Chris Peterson
  2. NEW BUSINESS:
    1) Report by Hal Johnson and Associates, Inc. - Hal Johnson and Chris Peterson presented the document titled Feasibility Study, Report and Recommendations, Growing into the Future (February 7, 2008) that he had prepared and distributed to all in attendance. The report was very complete (197 pages) capturing all the comments (written and oral) from the Town Hall meetings, the Confidential Interviews and the Written Surveys. Some recommendations were presented in the concluding pages of the report.

    After some Q&A and general discussion, all attendees were asked to carefully review the entire Report in preparation for a February 20 meeting to complete the analysis and generate an action plan. Thereafter, all in a attendance should be prepared to answer questions when the report is communicated to the general parish membership.

  3. OLD BUSINESS:
    1) HLA Lease - Pastoral Council reviewed the Hiawatha Leadership Academy Lease recommendations. After much discussion, the Council approved the lease conditionally with the addition of a Nuisance Claus (to cover unexpected maintenance). Pete to generate the clause and email it for approval.
