St. Joan of Arc Musician’s Mission Statement

We the musicians of the church of St. Joan of Arc
embrace with joy and respect,
music’s power to bring together
all of the elements of worship:
word, ritual and prayer.

We make music that comes from the heart of the commuity,
without regard for genre.
We sing the sacred songs of shared experience
which bring the voices of the St. Joan of Arc community
together as one, open hearts to the divine,
challenge, inspire and send our people into the world
with hope and joy!

The SJA Choir is a very informal group of lively, spirit-filled, lovely amateur choristers who volunteer our talents. We do not sing every Sunday but only on certain Sundays, special liturgical and other celebrations (i.e., Christmas, Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Easter), and concerts.
