Earth's House Guests

Our address in the Universe – no matter how temporary – is Planet EARTH. It is also the address and home of our children, grandchildren, millions of other living creatures and hopefully
future generations of their offspring as well!

Everything on Earth has been given to us by our gentle and loving God – as a GIFT! A wondrous, life-giving, miraculous Gift! Think about it … the air that we breathe … the water we drink …
the food that we eat … the shelter we seek -- It’s all a Gift from our Creator!

We are guests on Planet Earth! Many of us have forgotten this. We’ve forgotten our manners. We have been horrible house guests! We’ve plundered and polluted and torn up the furniture! We have neglected and harmed our beautiful and life-sustaining planet. Our lack of respect and responsibility has caused us to become out of touch and indifferent to our spiritual connection with Earth and all of Creation.

We truly walk on Holy Ground, breathe Holy Air, and drink Holy Water!

As you listen and watch Sunday’s reverent tribute to our Creator and Holy Mother Earth – open your heart and your life and practice acts of conscious stewardship and Eco Etiquette. Our actions today affect our less fortunate brothers and sisters around world! This is a moral justice issue!

Life is a sacred journey. Let’s live it in Reverence, Peace, and Harmony with each other,
all of Creation, and our Mother!
