Korea Day

What a day we had exploring Korea!! I'm sure you heard about the exciting dance group that performed for us, Mu Gung Hwa. The children age 6-13 performed an exhilarating Farmer's dance which is done in the Spring and Fall. It was very colorful, loud and impressive. Mrs. Lee, the instructor stayed the rest of the day to teach the puppet dance to the children. Apparently everyone in Korea learns this dance first.

Well thank you for your weather prayers because we had beautiful weather for planting! The plants look so wonderful. It was fun to watch children pointing them out on the way home today saying, "that's the one I planted." Creating great stewardship...hopefully they can point those trees out to their own children some day.

Did you have a brave child willing to try our Kimbob in the Ethnic Food Center? This is a Korean Sushi that is made with sticky rice and small cut veggies wrapped in seaweed. It was wonderful. I think we had many adventurous campers who were quite surprised at how much they liked it.

What colorful masks and crowns were designed carefully in arts & crafts center.

We are off to Cuba tomorrow!
