Rainbow of World Cultures Day

What a great rainbow day we had! Did anyone else see the rainbow in the sky at about 8:00 PM? What a special treat.

We started the day with great music from our full band of Judy Moe, Rachael Kroog, J.J. Kahle and our own Anna Mae Vagle. Each day we will sing the same songs that will be performed for parents on Friday, including a great Spanish song.

The Learning Centers were a buzz of activity. Probably the busiest (and messiest) was tie-dye. I 'm sure it will be worth the effort when your child gets their shirt on Friday.

Rachael Kroog wowed the children in Nature Center with her many animal friends from the Minnesota Zoo.

Rainbow ribbon relays were a colorful part of the Games Center and I'm sure you heard about the cool rainbow jello squares in the Food Center. The children also seemed to enjoy Dr. Suess's book, "Many Colored Days"

I hope your child had fun today. Look for more detailed coverage during the week!
