PostRide Summary..Reflections

On the sunny hot morning of Monday, July 10th, 70 bicycle riders from St. Joan of Arc led by their Wizard, Father Jim Cassidy, mounted their bicycles at 6 a.m. for the 6 day trip to Chicago(see route) in AIDS Ride 2000. They were accompanied by numerous crew members from our parish offering physical and moral support. Our entourage, dubbed "Team Oz", joined 1700 others from the Twin Cities area to ride for a cure for AutoImmune Deficiency Syndrome. One of the benefactors of the ride is our own Grace House. Members of our team, coordinated by WebReporter Edie Kalweit, will send back daily reports starting Monday, July 10th after the day's ride. Check back to experience the journey with them.
