Sunday, July 22nd- A Day with Host Families

It has been a wonderful experience to have Alba and Juan Carlos stay with my family and I! This past Sunday Alba, Juan Carlos, Padre Juan Renee, and Alejandro were introduced to the parish. It was a great opportunity to reunite with old friends and meet new ones as well! The mass was especially enjoyable for everyone because of all of the decorations, and the kids that spoke about Camp St. Joan. Alba, Juan Carlos, my family and I spent the rest of the day together at a birthday party for my grandma. Along with other normal birthday traditions, we played an intense, somewhat aggressive badminton game that lasted the entire afternoon and into the evening! The past few days that we have spent with the delegation have been, to say the very least, amazing! I am so happy, overwhelmingly so, to have the delegates here! Although it is smaller group, they bring with them the enthusiasm, energy, and love of the entire parish of San Marcos! I strongly encourage all of you to come join us for the scheduled activities!
