Peace Buses Leave for DC
Three buses holding St. Joan of Arc parishioners left for Washington DC on Friday morning to attend the National Peace Rally on Saturday, September 24th. Almost 150 people are on their way, riding through the night as you read this. A sendoff blessing was held in the church prior to leaving. We were honored by the presence of Archbishop Harry Flynn in addition to well wishers from the SJA family. Roger Dick and Linda Freemon of our webteam are on the bus and will provide a story and pictures of the activities next week.
