This year, 2005, summer came to a crashing halt marking the start of autumn. It seems most years that fall 'blows' into Minnesota. Wednesday evening, September 28, was a typical autumn evening, cool, breezy and filled with smells of leaves. Coming to an SJA activity is always fun when the ride over is beautiful.

This night’s pizza gathering was for families who have adopted children, sponsored by the SJA Adoption Ministries. This pizza party drew a small crowd, (yeah, more pizza for us) giving us more time to socialize with everyone. As always the children had a ball, filling themselves up with pizza, veggies, fruits, juice or pop and then running it off, all the while gathering up old or new friends. They returned often to the pizza table for a refill of energy. The teen room was filled with children of all ages, laughing, giggling, and with huge smiles.

Maybe a small crowd, but we downed every piece of pizza.
