He has agreed to send back periodic reports of his journey. For more about Sami, visit our Feature on his mission.

Editor's Note: There is no story included in this article. Sami sent us several pictures of he, the Muslim Peacemakers Team and the Christian Peacemakers team working/meeting in Iraq.

Tom Fox, a member of the Christian Peacemakers Team, was among 4 Americans captured on November 26th, reportedly by an the insurgent group, the Swords of Righteousness Brigade. Fox is a Virginia Quaker who has been active with the CPT for the last couple of years promoting peace in Iraq and acting as a human shield, of sorts. He is seen in these pictures at the Syrian border and in Fallujah as the CPT and Sami's MPT worked to escort 5 Palestinian families and 4 adults who fled the violence of Baghdad.

Mr. Fox is the balding man wearing a blue shirt in the photos.
