1st Communion Extravaganza
Second Graders Learn about Eucharist
March 23rd, 2004
Every year SJA's 2nd graders study the meaning of the Eucharist at home in preparation for their 1st Communion. An SJA tradition is the 1st Communion Extravaganza, an evening in which the children with their parents travel through stations to learn how wine and bread are made, the story of the Last Supper, communion etiquette and even the Passover feast history. We did not have a reporter at this year's 'Extravaganza' but Todd Dalebroux sent us these four pictures.
