As a service to those who miss a particular Bible Study meeting, parishioner Rik Murray writes a summary of that evening's session and emails it to all participants. Tom Smith-Myott felt that Rik's summaries would be of interest to the general parish population. Hence, their inclusion on the SJA website...
Bible Study is open to all parishioners and generally meets on Tuesday evenings in Hospitality Hall from 7-9 pm. Check the parish calendar for changes in the schedule. |
After completing Genesis, The Scripture Study Group has chosen Richard Rohr's book "Everything Belongs, the Gift of Contemplative Prayer" for its next discussion. The first session will be Tuesday May 6 at 7:00 in Hospitality Hall. The book "offers a personal retreat for those who hunger for a deeper prayer life."
