Adoptive Family Fun Night

May 9th, 2003

Hospitality Hall was a buzz and a blur of children, many children, many small children, coming for an evening of enjoyment. Seventy plus adults and their children came to participate in fun, food, games and music.

The Fun Night began with icebreaker games for all and then moved to a potluck dinner. Families brought a dish representing the culture of their family; hence, the table contained many interesting and delicious recipes. Magical music performed by Rachael Kroog filled the air of the evening. Adults left the area, after dinner, for some quiet time and discussion while the children remained with a group of teenage sitters to play some musical games with Rachael. Ending the evening brought everyone was back to the hall for final games and musical dance. Smiles, smiles, and more smiles the hall filled with smiles, so the evening must have been a great success.
