Sunday, December 16, 2001 - 8 pm: “A JOYFUL NOISE:” An intimate Holiday cabaret transplanted from the Bean & Wine Cafe in Excelsior where it’s sold out the past two years. Go figure: it featured Mary Jane Alm and Gwen Matthews on vocals, Pat Frederick on vocals, violin and mandolin, Boyd Lee on vocals and guitar, and Dan Chouinard on piano and accordion.

Sunday, January 20, 2002 - 8 pm: “PEOPLE GET READY:” An all-star sing-along to mark the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, with Debbie Duncan, Bruce Henry, Gwen Matthews and Dan Chouinard hosting from the piano. We all were Supreme for a night, a Temptation, a Drifter, an Inkspot... The rockin’ SJA Choir helped prime the pump.

Saturday, February 16, 2002 - 8 pm: TWO SWEET: Desserts, chocolates and champagne. And if that wasn’t enough: Three musical couples celebrating marital bliss and the not entirely unrelated Valentine’s holiday: Mary Jane Alm and Pat Frederick, Prudence Johnson and Gary Rue, and Fred and Anna Mae Vagle, with Dan Chouinard hosting from the piano.

Sunday, March 17, 2002 - 8 pm: O’GUITARS A St. Patrick’s Day celebration of music with guitar picking sensations -- and fine Irish lads -- Pat Donohue and Billy McLaughlin, both multiple award-winning performers and recording artists, Pat with “A Prairie Home Companion,” Billy on the national college circuit.
