SJA's Bridge Group Ends the Year ... starts again in September and they want you!

"Five clubs" or stormy skies couldn't keep 27 intrepid bridge players from getting together at Carol Jordan and Bob Callahan's on Sunday, May 20. Conversation was free flowing as well as the liquid refreshment. This was all followed by a sumptious feast that was modestly called potluck.

Prizes were awarded to Betsy Eyken and Gary Goodman 1st, Robin and Peter Knaeble 2nd, and Rose Marie Lemke and Joan Gray, 3rd. Rose Marie and Joan also won for having the highest individual game score. These two are new members as of this year. We would encourage any other interested bridge players to join our group . Our first meeting in the fall, September 16, will be in the party room of the Durham Apartment 7201 York Ave. Edina. This will also be a potluck followed by bridge

Kate Smith is a graduate from U of Mn in the Biological Sciences. Research in Veterinary Medicine. Teacher at Community College in Biological Sciences. Currently retired and taking the time to enjoy all that I have not had time or opportunity to do before.
