1. Buildings & Grounds update – Janet was unable to attend to report. Jerry shared his insight to some potential solutions. AC in gym not a practical option.

2. Composting update & Energy use at St. Joan of Arc – Clarence updated membership on difficulties with Composting and need for continued teaching and clarification as we enter events and the new school year. Ron volunteered to work with Clarence on St Joan’s energy audits and to examine utility bills and watch performance.

3. Website update – Curt has been busy designing our website http://www.wisshgraphics.com/church/index.htm and needs input from our members. Discussion proceeded with volunteers planning to contribute articles to all headings.

Our deadline for getting materials to Curt is Sept 8th. |
4. Transportation Committee – next meeting scheduled for Sept. 17th at 6:00 PM before our next Eco Spirituality meeting. Mary gave new members a description of this committee’s goals.

5. Arbor Project – report, Joe, Jill, Dana. Joe reported details of our April and
May’s Arbor Project outings.

| 6. Legislative update –Joe reported on an upcoming conference on Sept. 2nd and 3rd at Concordia University. |

7. Recycling signs – Dick: Signs were viewed and suggestions made. When revised and completed, Gloria and Sue volunteered to help Clarence with laminating and distribution.

8. Cabaret Zero Waste Effort: Dick and Jill volunteered to head this. A volunteer sheet is circulating. Jill will find out about tee shirts for new volunteers.

2. Eco-Spirits becoming a Metro CERTs affiliate: CERTS (Clean Energy Resource Teams) is a grassroots network. Clarence presented information & invited our membership to participate in CERTS & their projects.
