St. Joan of Arc has developed a reputation for outstanding music, both during Masses and in special events. The SJA Concert Series has been a wonderful success offering personal and intimate settings for some of the Twin Cities finest performers. Here is the 2007-2008 lineup!

	All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 -by Peter Rothstein Sunday December 23rd 3 PM and 7 PM, $25.00($10 student rush) Presented by Theater Latte Da and the a cappella ensemble Cantus. The world premiere of the musical play created by SJA parishioner Peter Rothstein based on true stories of peaceful insubordination and spontaneous fraternization on the first Christmas Eve of WWI. 	Young, Gifted and Black Celebrating the MLK Holiday Sunday January 20th 7:30 PM, $17.00 Featuring Bruce Henry, T Mychael Rambo, Aimee Bryant and special guest youth performers. Our annual celebration of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, hosted by Dan Chouinard and featuring the SJA Choir under the direction of Anna Vagle. Read our review.
	Songs of Shadow & Light Neal Hagberg CD Release Sunday February 24th 7:30 PM, $17.00 7:30 p.m. A CD release celebration featuring Neal (of “Old Love” and Neal and Leandra) but this time like you’ve never heard him before: solo, and provocative in this evening of sometimes political, always poignant songs. 	Songs for a Hopeful Season Twin Cities Gay Mens Chorus Sunday April 20th 7:30 PM, $17.00 The fourth appearance at St Joan’s by the spellbinding Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus, directed by Stan Hill.
